Geometries On and Off the Grid: Art from 1950 to the Present

For a curated exhibition that relied heavily on the artworks' structure, balance, and geometric shape, we knew we could adjust our typesetting in unconventional ways—breaking the title mid-letter on the cover—if we provided similarly well-built structure for the book's grid. Our design also emulates the experience of moving through this expansive show by short-sheeting the divider pages between the galleries. The reader sees around the corner into the next room just like the in-person visitor does.
