Gilbert & George: The General Jungle

McCall Associates has a deep history with Gilbert & George. Company founder Anthony McCall published a book on the artists' work "The Singing Sculpture" in 1993. In 2018 creative director Mark Nelson visited Gilbert & George in their studio to work with them on a book presentation of their 1971 drawing series "The General Jungle" at Levy Gorvy's London gallery. The large square format of the book allows for generous reproductions of the drawings and for the inclusion of a facsimile of their booklet "A Day in the Life of George & Gilbert the sculptors," which was placed in a special pocket within the inside back cover.
