Our first book for MoMA was a deep collaboration with the artist. Arguably the most important exhibition of his career to that point, this restrospective follows Richard Serra from his first produced works through the early 21st-century monumental curved sculptures he made into a signature style. The book's presentation reflects its importance in the count of 420 pages, in its unusual and barely horizontal format, and a rigorous design that presents balance throughout the ever-increasing sizes of Serra's sculptures over time.
